- Why it matters
The right support starts with understanding your home
When everyday cleaning becomes difficult, getting help should feel straightforward. We take the time to understand your priorities, access needs and routine, then put a practical cleaning plan in place. You stay involved in deciding what is cleaned and how the visit fits around your day.
What can make home cleaning harder
-
Tasks that take too much effort
Vacuuming, mopping and bathroom cleaning can become difficult to keep on top of.
-
An unclear cleaning scope
Without an agreed checklist, important tasks can be missed or expectations can differ.
-
Visits that disrupt your routine
Unclear arrival times and access arrangements can create unnecessary stress.
-
Too many people to coordinate
Veterans, family members and support contacts may all need clear service information.
-
Uncertainty about costs
The quote, included tasks and any funding arrangements should be clear before work begins.

- Scope of works
A clear cleaning plan, agreed before the first visit
Your home and circumstances shape the service. These are examples of tasks we can discuss, rather than a fixed package. Where funding is involved, the booked work must fit the confirmed service arrangements.
Living & Sleeping Areas
- Vacuum carpets and rugs

- Dust accessible surfaces
- Clean agreed touchpoints
- Bed making by arrangement
Kitchen & Bathroom Areas

Discuss Before Booking
- Visit length and frequency

- Any specialist cleaning requests
- Written quote and billing arrangements
DVA decides eligibility and what support may be funded. We can discuss cleaning enquiries and referrals, but a quote does not confirm funding. The agreed scope, any authorisation and payment arrangements must be in place before services start. Read DVA’s cleaning and housekeeping guidance for current information.
Why Brisbane households choose A2
We bring the same organised approach used across our commercial and residential cleaning services into your home: a clear scope, a background-verified team and a straightforward way to raise questions or adjust the plan.

Your privacy, belongings and preferences matter. We discuss access, rooms to avoid and any household considerations before cleaning begins.
Background-Verified Team
A2 uses background-verified cleaners. Any additional requirements for a particular referral or service arrangement are checked before the work is accepted.
A Documented Cleaning Scope
Know which tasks are included, how often they are scheduled and what has been quoted. Changes are discussed rather than assumed.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is DVA cleaning?
“DVA cleaning” usually refers to help with household cleaning where a veteran may have access to DVA support. DVA offers different pathways, including Veterans’ Home Care and Household Services compensation. The right pathway, eligibility and tasks depend on the individual assessment and service arrangements. A2 can discuss the practical cleaning work; DVA determines funding.
Can I contact A2 myself, or does someone need to refer me?
You can contact us yourself, and we also welcome enquiries from family members, representatives and support organisations. Tell us the suburb and cleaning tasks you need help with. We will discuss availability, provide a quote and confirm what is needed before a service can start.
Does my Veteran Card automatically cover cleaning?
Holding a Veteran Card does not by itself confirm that a particular clean will be funded. DVA or the relevant assessment agency determines the support available. Confirm the applicable assessment and authorisation before booking work you expect DVA to pay for.
How do Household Services and Veterans’ Home Care differ?
For Household Services compensation, DVA assesses the need for help linked to an accepted service-related condition. After approval, a veteran can choose a suitable provider. Veterans’ Home Care has a separate assessment and service-allocation process. Ask DVA which pathway applies to you and confirm any provider requirements before arranging cleaning.
What cleaning tasks can you help with?
We can discuss routine kitchen and bathroom cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, dusting and other agreed household tasks. Laundry or linen changes can be considered when requested. Specialist cleaning is quoted separately. We confirm the scope and any service requirements before accepting the booking; home cleaning does not include personal or nursing care.
How are quotes and payments arranged?
We provide a quote based on the tasks, property and visit frequency. If the enquiry involves funded support, the approved scope, who authorises the work and who pays the invoice must be confirmed first. We do not promise that a service will be fully funded or that there will be no out-of-pocket cost.
Which areas do you service, and how do I get started?
We welcome cleaning enquiries across Brisbane and surrounding areas, including the Redlands, Logan, Ipswich and Moreton Bay. Contact us with your suburb, preferred timing and the tasks you need help with. We will confirm coverage, availability and the next steps before booking a visit.
