We do not collect sensitive information (such as health, racial or political information) through our website, and we ask that you do not send us sensitive information unless we specifically request it for a legitimate purpose.

How we collect it

We collect personal information in a number of ways, including:

The A2 Nexus app and platform

A2 Nexus is our operational governance platform. It is used by our cleaning team, our management team and, where applicable, our clients. Through A2 Nexus we may collect and store:

  • Photographs and videos of cleaned areas, captured by our team to verify that work has been completed to the agreed standard
  • Site and service records, including checklists, audit results, scopes of work and corrective actions
  • Shift records, including clock-in and clock-out information for our team members
  • Documentation stored at site level, such as cleaning schedules, safety documents and service records

This information is used to deliver, verify and continuously improve our services, to maintain accountability and quality standards, and to provide clients with documented proof of completed work where this forms part of their service.

Verification photographs are intended to capture cleaned areas and surfaces, not individuals. We ask our team to avoid capturing people, personal belongings or confidential client material in verification images wherever possible. If you have specific requirements about photography at your site, please let us know and we will accommodate reasonable requests.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to help it function, to remember your preferences and to understand how visitors use the site. Cookies are small data files stored on your device.

We use third-party analytics and advertising tools, including Google services (such as Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Maps), to measure website traffic, understand visitor behaviour and improve our marketing. These tools may collect information such as your IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you visit. This information is generally aggregated and is used to improve our website and services.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect how some parts of our website work. For more information on how Google handles data, see Google’s own privacy resources at policies.google.com/privacy.

When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it in limited circumstances, including with:

  • Service providers who help us operate our business, such as our email, customer-management (CRM), website hosting, analytics and IT providers, who are required to protect your information and use it only for the services they provide to us
  • Google, through the analytics, advertising and mapping tools described above
  • WhatsApp / Meta, if you choose to contact us using the WhatsApp option on our website, in which case your message and number are handled under WhatsApp’s own privacy terms
  • Our team and approved cleaning partners, who require relevant information (such as site access and scope) to perform our services, and who are bound by confidentiality and the same standards we apply ourselves
  • Insurers, advisers and regulators, where reasonably required for insurance, legal, safety or regulatory purposes
  • Other parties, where you have consented or where we are required or permitted to disclose by law

Some of these providers (for example, Google and WhatsApp) may store or process data outside Australia. Where we disclose information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. These steps include secure storage of records, restricted access to information on a need-to-know basis, and the use of reputable third-party systems with their own security measures.

While we work hard to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We retain personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law, after which we take reasonable steps to securely destroy or de-identify it.

Accessing and correcting your information

You have the right to ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. To make a request, please contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first.

There may be circumstances where we are unable to provide access or make a correction, in which case we will explain why in writing.
